About Our Membership

For just £5 per year, you can become a member of BulliesOut and join a growing group of people who support everything we do – and who are determined to make sure that no-one faces bullying alone.

There is no certificate, gesture gift, or celebration party when you become a member of BulliesOut; we simply insist every penny from membership fees goes directly to help those affected by bullying.  What we will do is thank you, acknowledge your membership, send you e-newsletters and enter you into our Annual Members Draw which takes place at our AGM.

Why Join BulliesOut?

As a member, you have the opportunity to get involved in some of the work we do. There is no pressure to do this, but if you are interested, we’ll support you every step of the way. You could:

  • Take part in surveys, focus groups and consultations
  • Share personal experiences to help raise awareness of the effects of bullying
  • Join our campaigns
  • Fundraise to support the work of BulliesOut
  • Volunteer with us
  • Help manage our information stand at community events

As one of the very few leading anti-bullying charities in the UK, our workload is huge. We work incredibly hard to help and support those affected by bullying and every penny donated to us is precious. The money from membership fees goes directly to our youth engagement programmes,  helping in whatever way possible, including mentoring and training, confidence building activities and awareness raising.

Shape Our Future

BulliesOut’s members vote for our trustees, so you can have a direct say in choosing the people who steer what we do. If you’re passionate about our mission and have some time to spare, you could become a trustee yourself.

Need to talk?

If you are being bullied or are concerned about someone who is, you can receive help and support from one of our trained Mentors through our e-mentoring service.

If you would like a Mentor to email you, please contact: mentorsonline@bulliesout.com

If you would rather speak to someone over the telephone, you can call Childline on: 0800 1111

For any community-related issues, such as anti-social behaviour, we would suggest contacting your landlord, the local police or your local environmental health department (where applicable), as we are unable to deal with these types of complaints.
