BulliesOut Speak Out Campaign

Join our  Campaign and help us raise awareness of bullying.

Bullying is a huge societal issue that occurs well beyond the school years. It causes unimaginable distress to a person, including anxiety, stress and depression. Bullying affects their confidence and self-esteem and has a major impact on their mental health.

‘Speak Out was developed to motivate a call to action against bullying through public awareness. Created from an idea inspired by our team of Youth Ambassadors, the Campaign aims to raise awareness of bullying and how it affects a person by engaging with businesses and encouraging them to display our ‘Speak Out’ Certificate.

The Campaign establishes a framework for businesses to support ‘Speak Out’ and help us make the UK free from bullying. Those who sign up to the Campaign commit to working together to promote an anti-bullying and respectful ethos as this is a powerful way to Inspire Change and Make a Difference.

  1. We commit to working together to create a safe and healthy environment
  2. Everyone is expected to respect the right of each individual
  3. Everyone will be treated equally and respected for their individuality and diversity
  4. Bullying in any form is unacceptable and will not be tolerated
  5. Our policies and procedures will underpin the principles of this Campaign and will be upheld by all

As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking to engage businesses to join us and help us raise awareness of how bullying can happen in the workplace as well as in schools. Our ‘Speak Out’ Campaign not only raises awareness of the issue, it also highlights the behaviour conducive to a collaborative and healthy workforce.

Supporting the BulliesOut ‘Speak Out’ Campaign will give you an unique opportunity to receive recognition for the part you play in changing the lives of those affected by bullying.

We need to reach the wider community and let them know help and support is available and with the support of businesses like yours, we can do this.

When you sign up to the ‘Speak Out’ Campaign, a member of our team can visit your business and present you with an A4 Certificate which can be displayed in your reception or main area to show your staff, clients and customers that you are supporting an important cause that is ‘Speaking Out’ against bullying, ‘Making a Difference’ and ‘Inspiring Change’. We can also leave you with some additional certificates (A5 size) should you wish to display them in other areas of your business.*

The ‘presentation’ will take a couple of minutes and while we are there, we can take some photos of and/or video the presentation and upload them to social media where we will ‘tag’ your business and let the world know how amazing you are. The only cost to you will be your time.

*If we don’t currently have any team members in your area, or if you prefer, we can post the certificate to you.

Need to talk?

If you are being bullied or are concerned about someone who is, you can receive help and support from one of our trained Mentors. We currently do not have the ability to provide support face to face or via the telephone and can only provide an e-mentoring service to those affected by bullying..

If you would like a Mentor to email you, please contact: mentorsonline@bulliesout.com

If you would rather speak to someone over the telephone, you can call Childline on: 0800 1111

For any community-related issues, such as anti-social behaviour, we would suggest contacting your landlord, the local police or your local environmental health department (where applicable), as we are unable to deal with these types of complaints.
