Go Purple – Nov 2020

Light it Up

Lighting up landmarks, buildings or even a light in your home is a lovely way to raise awareness of those affected by bullying.

In 2017, one of our Youth Ambassadors, Georgie, approached Blackpool Tower and they lit up the Tower Bell purple for BulliesOut and to recognise all those who are suffering from bullying.  In 2018, Cardiff City Hall, Stockport County Hall and Aberystwyth Pier also took part in our campaign and were lit up purple for the whole of anti-bullying week.

Each year, we aim to increase the number of buildings that ‘Go Purple’ during anti-bullying week and raise awareness of bullying.  If you live near an iconic building or landmark, why not approach them and see if they will Light up Purple for BulliesOut this year.
