Bullying behaviour in the workplace can take on many different forms and isn’t always easy to recognise. Defining bullying is simple enough – repeated, intentional behaviour that seriously damages the confidence, self-esteem and emotional well-being of an individual. Identifying the actions can be more difficult, especially as some bullying behaviours are so covert.

Bullying behaviour is not limited to the school environment. It can occur anywhere that children and young people spend time, including in their local community, on public transport, in sports clubs, youth organisations, online, and sometimes even within the home.

We all want to see our child(ren) happy and succeeding at school but changing schools for a child can be a significant decision and should be approached thoughtfully. If your child is not happy in their current school due to bullying behaviour, it may be something you have considered.
