Parents turn to Home-Schooling for Bullied Children

11th Mar 2019

More and more parents are turning to home-schooling as an alternative to mainstream education, particularly those affected by bullying in the school environment.

Kip McGrath at Newport West is open during school hours and is accepting bookings for home-schooled children.

Home-school parents are fortunate enough to be more involved in their child’s learning, yet with this reward comes great responsibility. Choosing Kip McGrath Education Centres as a private tuition provider offers an ideal solution to ensuring all key areas of the English and Maths curriculum are covered whilst offering the opportunity to socialise with other children in a structured, small group setting.

Sessions can also be taken via video-link from home which could work brilliantly for those home-schoolers reluctant or unable to leave their home environment.

We recognise the unique abilities and potential of each pupil and all our programmes of study are tailor‑made to each individual’s needs.  Activities are by computer and by hand, which means technological skills as well as more traditional methods are of equal value.

We are soon hoping to offer Welsh language support within our sessions.

Initial assessments are free. Get in touch today to find out more and to see how we can help you and your child.

Need to talk?

If you are being bullied or are concerned about someone who is, you can receive help and support from one of our trained Mentors. We currently do not have the ability to provide support face to face or via the telephone and can only provide an e-mentoring service to those affected by bullying..

If you would like a Mentor to email you, please contact: mentorsonline@bulliesout.com

If you would rather speak to someone over the telephone, you can call Childline on: 0800 1111

For any community-related issues, such as anti-social behaviour, we would suggest contacting your landlord, the local police or your local environmental health department (where applicable), as we are unable to deal with these types of complaints.
