When joining United Voices, you’ll be asked to make a commitment to taking part in the programme so that you can get the most from the experience and contribute fully.

Please let us know if the following commitments work for you. If there are any challenges that might make it difficult to take part, please tell us – we’d be happy to chat about how we can support you.

Take part in regular United Voices meetings, where you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other young people, share ideas and work together on projects. Meetings are usually held in Cardiff on Saturdays, and BulliesOut will cover agreed travel costs to help make participation accessible.

Complete a monthly record of your United Voices activities and involvement with BulliesOut. This helps us understand your contributions and celebrate the work you’ve been part of. You can submit this by email or bring it along to the monthly meeting.

Wear your United Voices hoodie and ID badge at meetings and events when needed, helping you feel part of the team and represent the programme.

Join the United Voices (private) online community group to stay connected, share updates and keep in touch with other members of the programme. (For participants under the age of 13, or those who do not use Facebook, a parent or guardian can join on their behalf.)

Parental Consent: As the parent/guardian, you play an important role in your child’s experience as a Youth Ambassador. We ask that you discuss the programme and responsibilities with your child and sign the statements below indicating your consent.

We hold monthly meetings and training sessions in Cardiff, as well as regular online catch-ups to help you stay connected, share ideas and continue developing your skills.

We know there are a lot of questions on this form! Sometimes we receive funding from organisations that support the running of United Voices, and they ask us to collect information to help us understand the impact of the programme.

If you are under 18, you are welcome to bring a parent or guardian with you to meetings. This helps ensure you feel supported and safe, and allows them to understand more about United Voices and how they can support you throughout your journey. We’ll even make sure they get lunch too.
